I wanted to share something special with you today: The story behind The Barakah Kit.

It all started when I came across The Muslim Business Launchpad by Saufiyah on Instagram. It made me reflect deeply on my life as a young Muslimah in an apprenticeship. Struggling to hold onto my values, praying in meeting rooms, and avoiding sins like gossip or free-mixing.

I asked myself: Do I really want to spend the next 10–20 years, always struggling to add more ibadah (worship) to my life?

That’s when the seed for this business was planted.

We live in a time of ease, but also of procrastination, laziness, and distraction. Phones, comfort, and endless entertainment make it easy to follow the nafs instead of discipline.

I noticed this not only in myself but also in those around me. Many of us are drowning in distraction. That’s why I chose this niche: To help Muslims fight back with discipline, productivity, and also retain their Islamic ilm (knowledge). So it stays alive in our hearts and actions, not just on paper.

Through The Barakah Kit, I want to share tips and digital products that help us in our jihad al-nafs (struggle against our desires). As Allah ﷻ reminds us:

This business is my way of giving back to the ummah. Helping others stay productive, disciplined, and connected to their deen, while also building my own freedom to worship and spend more time with family.
